Luca Upton makes his loan debut as Acle United lost their fourth game in a row but held the league leaders to 0-0 at half time in a much improved performance.

Barraclough and Brown welcomed back Cooper and player manager Brown to the team and gave debuts to Upton and Wiltshire.

Acle were first to show and it was Dolamo who found Barnett who flashed a cross into the 6 yard box. Then Bennett nearly put the A's in front but his shot hit the post.

Cooper then connected with a long throw but his header went just over the bar.

Debut boy Upton was showing great skills up front and plenty of movement as he sent in a stinging shot narrowly wide of the post.

At the other end McCauley headed over the bar from a long throw before Hall was set free shooting wide of the goal.

Dolamo and Barnett then worked an opening that saw the latter's shot saved at the near post.

Simmonds was dictating matters in midfield combining well with Barnett in what was a much improved first half performance against the league leaders as the teams turned round 0-0.

Upton showed fantastic skills to play in Simmonds but the home keeper kept the ball out.

An injury to Wiltshire in goal saw the ball break to Hall who half volleyed home which was the turning point in the match as Skipper Barraclough had to take the jersey and The A's were under pressure. Two more goals followed from McCauley in a match that Acle had more than played their part. Dolamo hit the angle of post and bar and Cooper went just wide from 40 yards out.

Simmonds combined with substitute Attrey but the shot was saved while Lee Blackett beat his man out wide before delivering a good cross into the box.

All in all despite the 3-0 defeat this was a great performance all round with Barnett claiming the correspondent's Man of the Match award ,closely followed by Upton on debut.
