Our young Reserve side controlled proceedings against our friends at Waveney as they retained the Brian Gallagher Trophy in our annual friendly. The game was the first for the new management as Ricky Graves, Pete Barber and Declan McAvoy all oversaw their youngsters for the first time.
Two goals from Ben Atkinson sandwiched another from Luca Upton to give the Trawlerboys a 3-0 lead.
Waveney did reduce the deficit late on but couldn't do enough to create any late drama in front of a really good crowd for the evening. Good luck to Waveney for the season ahead and we look forward to seeing you again next season.
